Swan F. Kennedy is a parody of widely syndicated conservative comic strip “Mallard Fillmore”. I had a lot of fun learning to imitate Bruce Tinsley’s style, and came to appreciate his work. I drew several practice ducks until I had it down, though I modified the original model slightly to make my parody character. I also had fun trying to capture and magnify the smugness of the strip.
